Lebanon vs. Isreal
Bare this video in mind when learning of the new talks President Bush is having to "Finalise Iran Strike Plan".... Which you've probably heard nothing about if you solely watch television, which i'm sure you don't.... (Turn them off) An account follows the video.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert visited Washington yesterday and met with US President George W. Bush to finalise plans for a joint US-Israel strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
President Bush hinted that actions against Iran will form the core of their discussion.
"I'm sure that we will find some time, also, to discuss other measures, such as the danger of Iran and the threats that come from the President of Iran, who talks time and again about the liquidation of the state of Israel, something that is totally intolerable and unacceptable," he said. "And we have to continue the measures taken in order to stop the Iranian efforts to establish unconventional weapons."
Talking to reporters at a joint press conference Bush once again re-iterated his position on military strikes against Iran by saying "I will tell you this, that my position hasn't changed, and that is all options are on the table."
"And I fully understand the concerns of any Israeli when they hear the voice of the man in Iran saying, on the one hand, we want to acquire the technologies and know-how to build a -- enrich uranium, which could then be converted into a nuclear weapon, and on the other hand, we want to destroy Israel," he added. "Look, if I were an Israeli citizen I would view that as a serious threat to my security. And as a strong ally of Israel, I view that as a serious threat to its security -- not only the security of Israel, but the security of the Middle East."
Olmert also met with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to obtain their broad support for military action against Iran.
Pelosi's comments welcoming the Prime Minister indicate that he is likely to get the backing he is seeking from the Congress.
“With the Republican and Democratic leaders gathered here, you see how strong the bipartisanship is for a great U.S.-Israel relationship," Pelosi said.
Meanwhile, Iran has formally complained to the United Nations about the planned strike by US and Israel.
"I wish to inform you that, emboldened by the absence of any action by the Security Council, various Israeli officials have unabatedly continued to publicly and contemptuously make unlawful and dangerous threats of resorting to force against the Islamic Republic of Iran," Iran's UN ambassador Javad Zarif wrote in a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, dated June 11.
Iran has also accused the US of carrying out covert operations aimed at destabilising the country.

Suspect Nation
Since Tony Blair's New Labour government came to power in 1997, the UK civil liberties landscape has changed dramatically. ASBOs were introduced by Section 1 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and first used in 1999. The right to remain silent is no longer universal. Our right to privacy, free from interception of communications has been severely curtailed. The ability to travel without surveillance (or those details of our journeys being retained) has disappeared.
Indeed, as Henry Porter (the Observer journalist famous for his recent email clash with Tony Blair over the paring down of civil liberties) reveals in this unsettling film, our movements are being watched, and recorded, more than ever before, in whats sold as 'beneficial for our own safety' when in fact these measures are exactly the opposite.
Check for the crucial last ten minutes of this film.

Panorama - Scientology & Me
Scientology. Never heard of it? You might have seen one of it's most valued propoganda tools 'Tom Cruise' singing it's praises. Well Panorama has just done a short programme about it and the attitudes uncovered were very worrying.
Scientology was invented by L.Ron Hubbard. A man of questionable nature. He was very close to Jack Parsons, a nuclear physicist mainly involved in designing rockets for NASA and the US Military, who was fixated on Satanic Ritual and sex magic acts. Ron Hubbard & Jack Parsons. In turn they were both very friendly with Alistair Crowly, which alone tells us a great deal. In fact, Hubbard was an initiate of Crowleys OTO.

Xcon 2005 - David Sereda – NASA's Dilemma
David Sereda discusses his personal UFO sighting in Berkley, CA in 1967, “When you see video and photographs, from the perspective of having seen a UFO with your own eyes, eyes that never lie, the photographs remind you of the truth that this is all real. But for the person who has never seen one with their eyes, they think perhaps this is all some kind of trickery.” Always following the Astronauts on every Apollo mission, David Sereda grew up with the love of spaceflight. He has particularly followed closely the career of Astronaut Gordon Cooper, the legend with the "right stuff" who also happens to be the most outspoken on the matter of extraterrestrial-related phenomena. As far as Sereda is concerned, if Gordon Cooper says it's real, you can take that to the bank. In 1994, Martyn Stubbs, the Canadian UFO researcher, who archived hundreds of hours of live NASA missions, approached David to conduct a scientific investigation into anomalies with NASA video footage. He spent 6 years in private discussions with top NASA officials and scientists about these anomalies. In 2002, he released a book and 3-hour documentary film, Evidence, the Case for NASA UFOs. He will discuss the significance of UFO technology, the quest for a supraluminal propulsion system and becoming free of the bonds of planet earth! He will also talk about his upcoming documentary to be released by Lions Gate Films, Dan Aykroyd, Unplugged on UFOs [Below]

If you watched The CASE For NASA - UFO's Parts 1 and 2 (The first of which has been lost unfortunately allthough I am trying to get it back up) with David sereda further down the page [ESSENTIAL VIEWING]. He's obviously got quite a collection of footage, and a couple of the morphing / dissapearing shots are among the best I've seen.
Hollywood star Dan Aykroyd, who is a believer in the existence and government cover-up of alien life-forms, hosts this look into the phenomenon of UFO sightings. Akroyd shares his personal experiences in this field and also discusses recent findings with author and UFOlogist David Sereda.

Secrets Of The Mayan Calendar Unveiled
Ian Xel Lungold takes a complex subject such as the Mayan Calendar and makes it very easy to understand on a personal level." He also clearly points out how the Schedule of Creation can be tracked when one looks at past historical events and relates that information to what to expect in the near future.
Get set for the long haul with these but I think it's worth it. Fascinating subject. I'll try and find a brief overview of the Mayan people too which will put all this into more context. Part 1's probably the best in terms of a brief overview, the other 2 parts expand on more deatil with regard concious. In fareness the bloke makes it very hard work for you, I blame the massive gaps between his scentences, but theres not really a more in depth breakdown of the actual calander than this. He's dead now by all acounts but managed to get this out in his last days so we've got to thank him for that.
You may have heard people talk about the Year 2012, and the doomsday merchants who love to 'not think' and say "End days, end of the world" well that date comes predominantly from the Mayan calender which ends at the year 2012 / 2013. But being an optamist, I'm inclined to think that 2012 will mark the dawning of a higher state of conciousness. The Mayan calander has predicted some very true happenings in our recent past (Thats why i want to find another dcumentary I watched many years ago which demonstrates some of these), made incredible by the fact that these people lived thousands of years ago. Their calender works on principles of astrology and the year 2012 signifies a massive alignment of planets in our solar system.

The Real Face of the European Union
The EU has been sold to Britain as our best hope for the future . . . But behind the scenes, has another, more unsettling agenda been unfolding? The European Economic Community (EEC) began for Britain as a free-trade agreement in 1972. Today's European Union is well on its way to becoming a federal superstate, complete with one currency, one legal system, one military, one police force and even its own national anthem. In this shocking new documentary featuring EU insiders and commentators, independent author Phillip Day covers the history and goals of the European Union, as well as the disturbing, irrevocable implications this new government has for every British citizen. Whether the viewer is for or against Britain's participation, this film asks the troubling questions the mainstream media has refused to confront.

Oil, Smoke & Mirrors
"Oil Smoke & Mirrors" offers us a sobering critique of our perceived recent history, of our present global circumstances, and of our shared future in light of imminent, under-reported and mis-represented energy production constraints
Through a series of impressively candid, informed and articulate interviews, this film argues that the bizzare events surrounding the 9/11 attacks, and the equally bizzare prosecution of the so-called "war on terror", can be more credibly understood in the wider context of an imminent and critical divergence between available global oil supply and increasing global oil demand.
Some crucial points on this film. I reffer to things like Brigadere General Sir Frank Kitson's revised mothods of Counter gangs / Sudo Gangs. You need to know this.

Extraordinary People - The Boy with the incredible Brain
Daniel Tammet first came to worldwide attention in March 2004 on international Pi Day (3/14, of course) when he recited, from memory, Pi to 22,514 decimal places. It took over five hours and set a new European record. The event, which Daniel named "Pi in the Sky", coincided with Einstein's birthday and took place in front of Einstein's blackboard at the Museum of the History of Science in Oxford, England. Daniel used that event to raise funds for the National Society for Epilepsy because it was after a series of childhood seizures that his extraordinary number and memory abilities began, aligning him with that rare circumstance of the 'acquired savant' in which such exceptional skills surface following some CNS injury or disease. He is proud of the monies raised on behalf of this organization, and certainly gave this worthy cause a good deal of visibility.

In June 2000, astronomers made an extraordinary discovery. One that promises to solve one of the biggest problems in cosmology - how and why galaxies are created. Incredibly, the answer involves the most weird, destructive and terrifying objects in the Universe - supermassive black holes. Scientists are beginning to believe that these forces of pure destruction actually help trigger the birth of galaxies and therefore are at the heart of the creation of stars, planets and all life.

Here's an interesting article a good friend passed me recently about resuscitation of cardiac arrest patients.... "The new science of resuscitation is changing the way doctors think about heart attacks—and death itself."
May 7, 2007 issue - Consider someone who has just died of a heart attack. His organs are intact, he hasn't lost blood. All that's happened is his heart has stopped beating—the definition of "clinical death"—and his brain has shut down to conserve oxygen. But what has actually died?
As recently as 1993, when Dr. Sherwin Nuland wrote the best seller "How We Die," the conventional answer was that it was his cells that had died. The patient couldn't be revived because the tissues of his brain and heart had suffered irreversible damage from lack of oxygen. This process was understood to begin after just four or five minutes. If the patient doesn't receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation within that time, and if his heart can't be restarted soon thereafter, he is unlikely to recover. That dogma went unquestioned until researchers actually looked at oxygen-starved heart cells under a microscope. What they saw amazed them, according to Dr. Lance Becker, an authority on emergency medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. "After one hour," he says, "we couldn't see evidence the cells had died. We thought we'd done something wrong." In fact, cells cut off from their blood supply died only hours later.
But if the cells are still alive, why can't doctors revive someone who has been dead for an hour? Because once the cells have been without oxygen for more than five minutes, they die when their oxygen supply is resumed. It was that "astounding" discovery, Becker says, that led him to his post as the director of Penn's Center for Resuscitation Science, a newly created research institute operating on one of medicine's newest frontiers: treating the dead.
Biologists are still grappling with the implications of this new view of cell death—not passive extinguishment, like a candle flickering out when you cover it with a glass, but an active biochemical event triggered by "reperfusion," the resumption of oxygen supply. The research takes them deep into the machinery of the cell, to the tiny membrane-enclosed structures known as mitochondria where cellular fuel is oxidized to provide energy. Mitochondria control the process known as apoptosis, the programmed death of abnormal cells that is the body's primary defense against cancer. "It looks to us," says Becker, "as if the cellular surveillance mechanism cannot tell the difference between a cancer cell and a cell being reperfused with oxygen. Something throws the switch that makes the cell die."
With this realization came another: that standard emergency-room procedure has it exactly backward. When someone collapses on the street of cardiac arrest, if he's lucky he will receive immediate CPR, maintaining circulation until he can be revived in the hospital. But the rest will have gone 10 or 15 minutes or more without a heartbeat by the time they reach the emergency department. And then what happens? "We give them oxygen," Becker says. "We jolt the heart with the paddles, we pump in epinephrine to force it to beat, so it's taking up more oxygen." Blood-starved heart muscle is suddenly flooded with oxygen, precisely the situation that leads to cell death. Instead, Becker says, we should aim to reduce oxygen uptake, slow metabolism and adjust the blood chemistry for gradual and safe reperfusion.
Researchers are still working out how best to do this. A study at four hospitals, published last year by the University of California, showed a remarkable rate of success in treating sudden cardiac arrest with an approach that involved, among other things, a "cardioplegic" blood infusion to keep the heart in a state of suspended animation. Patients were put on a heart-lung bypass machine to maintain circulation to the brain until the heart could be safely restarted. The study involved just 34 patients, but 80 percent of them were discharged from the hospital alive. In one study of traditional methods, the figure was about 15 percent.
Becker also endorses hypothermia—lowering body temperature from 37 to 33 degrees Celsius—which appears to slow the chemical reactions touched off by reperfusion. He has developed an injectable slurry of salt and ice to cool the blood quickly that he hopes to make part of the standard emergency-response kit. "In an emergency department, you work like mad for half an hour on someone whose heart stopped, and finally someone says, 'I don't think we're going to get this guy back,' and then you just stop," Becker says. The body on the cart is dead, but its trillions of cells are all still alive. Becker wants to resolve that paradox in favor of life.

Queerer Than We Suppose - The strangeness of science...... Richard Dawkins Short Talk At Ted Talks
Richard Dawkins is Oxford University's "Professor for the Public Understanding of Science." Author of the landmark 1976 book, The Selfish Gene, he's an evangelist for Darwin's ideas. In this talk, titled, "Queerer Than We Suppose: The strangeness of science," he suggests that the true nature of the universe eludes us, because the human mind evolved only to understand the "middle-sized" world we can observe. (Recorded July 2005 in Oxford, UK. Duration: 22:42)

Horizon - Human V2
Horizon covers the likelyhood that mankind is reaching the point where it could be possible to store human characteristics and the actual human mind, inside computers so that ultimately machines can redesign the Human Race to create a better version of the species, or 'Human V2'.
This video would be very high scoring, like 100/100, but there are small sections cut from it which have got to be important. In particular details of what methods of mind control The CIA were using on The Unabomber. That Mind Control project was called MK Ultra, and you can find out a little more about it here, in place of the cut in film, which may well have been accidental.

Inside Iran - Rageh Omaar
Rageh Omaar embarks on a unique journey inside what he describes as one of the most misunderstood countries in the world, looking at the country through the eyes of people rarely heard - ordinary Iranians.
It took a year of wrangling to get permission to film inside Iran but the result is an amazing portrayal of an energetic and vibrant country that is completely different to the usual images seen in the media. A country of contrasts
Rageh soon discovers that Tehran is a complex place and uncovers a city of extremes of wealth and poverty, where some people survive on less than a dollar a day and others shop till they drop in glitzy shopping malls.
Iran is a country that bans women from riding motorcycles but where 60 per cent of the student population is female. It is also a youthful place, with two thirds of Iran's 70 million population under the age of 30. Local stories
Rageh meets with local people to hear their personal stories and feelings about the current state of affairs in Iran. There are stories of taxi drivers, wrestlers, business women, people working with drug addicts and the country's leading pop star and his manager - the 'Simon Cowell' of Iran.
Rageh Inside Iran transcends images of angry demonstrations and burning flags to reveal a country that isn't without its problems but which is also fascinating, dynamic and hospitable.
